JOIN OUR TEAM
Are you currently a student and looking for an environment to get some real world working experience? Since 2017, LUMP Studio has been an open access studio for ceramic makers of all levels in Hong Kong. We are currently looking for interns to join our team for short assignments of 3 to 5 months. Although this is not a paid position, Interns will be entitled to a free monthly membership (valued at $2,160 per month), travel and/or firing cost allowance, and discounts on LUMP events/workshops.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your work will focus on 1 or more of the following areas:

Running and managing a ceramic studio (includes kiln (un)loading, kiln maintenance, glaze mixing, clay recyling, etc...

Event planning and marketing (includes working with LUMP team and local and foreign artists in the planning of talks, workshops and other events)

Social media and digital marketing (planning & creating social media content and campaigns)
REQUIREMENTS

Recent ceramic-making experience of 6-12 months

Commit to an assignment of 3-5 months working 8 hour/per week on site

Be a team player

Speak English and/or Cantonese

Curious, enjoys interacting with others, supportive, strong sense of responsibility, and a team player
WORKING HOURS/LOCATION

Interns work on site for 8 hours per week, mainly onsite + some remote work

They are required to attend 1 in-person team meeting per month, of about 2 hours.
